Background
Simplifying Payment Collection with Shareable Payment Links
I worked on designing an intuitive and efficient payment solution that allows businesses and individuals to generate and share secure payment links. By eliminating the need for complex payment gateway integrations, this solution enables businesses to collect payments easily while reducing reliance on cash-on-delivery (COD). The goal was to build a frictionless payment experience that ensures trust, security, and accessibility for both merchants and customers.
Objective
Enhancing Digital Payment Adoption with a Frictionless Experience
The primary goal was to create a user-friendly interface for generating, sharing, and managing payment links. By focusing on security, branding, and ease of use, the aim was to make digital transactions more reliable, accessible, and widely adoptedβespecially by small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs).

As the product designer manager at DAO Proptech and leading the Blocks initiative in terms of Design and research, my responsibilities encompassed

SMEs often struggle with online payment integrations due to high costs, technical barriers, and operational complexities.
2. High Dependence on COD
COD transactions lead to higher return rates, cash handling risks, and delayed revenue cycles for businesses.
3. Lack of Trust in Digital Payments
Many users hesitate to make digital payments due to security concerns and unfamiliarity with online payment flows.
